Seeing yourself in random Youtubes or Streetview

Not what the OP wanted, but google redid the aerial footage of my town this year. I know this because I found my house and my lady friend’s car is parked in front of it, which would have been just last month, the week of Valentine’s Day.

That must have blown your mind. Had he passed by then?

Yes, nearly 30 years before, which made it even stranger. I wish I could have got him to talk more about it than just the odd slightly humorous tales he told in my childhood. I think it may have been worse than he ever let on.

But if wishes were horses…

I could narrow down the time they caught my open garage to the two week period I was storing a futon for a friend. Anyway, I bet that street view and such has caused a lot of problems with the wrong car being in the wrong place.

I saw a relative in the crowd of a decade-old live-music video once. I don’t remember if I was watching on YouTube or DirectTV.

I always wondered how plain white Toyotas became so popular; now I know. It’s to fool Streetview.

Yes Dear, that is a white 2017 Toyota parked in front of my cute co-worker’s house at noon on a Tuesday. But it’s not my white 2017 Toyota."

Yet another reason to abjure bumper stickers.
