In the maximum security prison I work in, we also call it by the term “escape”.
Heh, that was my silly ass attempting to come up with a PC term for jailbreak. Here’s some other ones I’ve made up/heard in a movie:
Pulling an OJ (actually I guess that would be more like “avoiding jail”)
