Anyway, I’m confused. Which one is the bad implant? They look pretty much the same to me. Enough expected variation because people aren’t perfect mirror images, but they look like they belong on the same person.
The idea is that it’s a bad implant job, because despite being symmetric, they both look like implants.
Seeing the rounded edge of an implant is usually a dead giveaway. I look for the distinctive saucer shape.
A incision scar under the boob is another give away. The skilled doctors can make the incision at the navel. Hiding the scar.
A really good boob job isn’t noticed at all.
The OP clearly asked, “Selena Gomez - did she get a really bad boob implant?” Implant, singular. And it’s done singly for women who have had single mastectomies. Or, I suppose, women who are enlarging on the instalment plan.

I was referring to photos of topless models. Checking for scars is common among fans that prefer natural ladies. We had these discussions many,many times years ago on Usenet.
Selena’s see thru top shows a obvious saucer shape boob outline. Could be an implant or maybe a very tight top squishing them. I doubt a flimsy knit top would do that. But I don’t know.
A bra or compression undergarment could easily have that effect. It looks like she just got done working out. Reserving judgment until I see a topless pic. wink.
Question - how do you get good? Do you sit around the local mall and make a note of your prediction in a little notebook, and then go up to the women to ask them, to see if you got it right? What sort of percentages do you get? What proportion of women punches you in the face?
I spent a lot of time on Usenet back in the 90’s. There were several groups that discussed and shared photos of natural figured models. Good times until the spammers ruined it. Thats almost 16 years ago.

Actually, since most photographers today use cameras that take several photos in rapid succession, the Daily News and E! photos look like they were taken from the same stream of pictures. It looks to me like the Daily News deliberately chose that picture to generate buzz. IMHO of course, YMMV.

What’s weird is that it looks different than when she actually was younger. If her face looked more like it did when she was, say, 16, I think she’d actually look less babyfaced.
Then again, normally that doesn’t bother me, but it does on her for some reason. I think it’s the incongruity with her body.

Selena doesn’t look that young to me. At lest not in her current photos. I wouldn’t card her for beer if I worked at a 7-11. She looks over 21 to me. She reminds me of Tiffani Thiessen.
