Selena Gomez is the newest hot actress coming out of Disney. I haven’t seen anything she’s acted in. That’ll change as she makes grown up movies.
Not sure short, shorts are a good idea for anyone this bowlegged. It’s real noticeable in the photo with her feet close together. Kind of takes away the sex appeal.
Just to clarify, I was criticizing the stylist’s mistake and not the girl. The stylist’s job is to emphasize the positive attributes and take attention away from anything less flattering. Everyone has flaws. The right clothes makes them much less noticeable.
Short, shorts calls attention to the legs. Bowlegged legs. Not a good idea.
My wife loves What Not to Wear, and now I’m channeling Clinton & Stacy. LOL But, they do give really good advice on that show. I’ve learned a lot in six years.
She doesn’t look bowlegged to me, she’s just turning her toes for her photo pose. Very common thing for actresses to do, I think it’s the first thing your publicist teaches you.
Are people being confused by the difference between bow legged and pigeon toed? Selena Gomez is neither, but the picture could make her look like the latter if you squint and tilt you head just so. This is bowlegged: http://notacowgirl.files.wordpress.com/2011/03/before_surgery.jpg?w=500
I can answer that, it’s taught in modelling too - NO ONE looks good facing a camera dead on - almost everyone looks thick, it is universally more flattering to do a three-quarter turn.
That’s the lower leg curve I see in Selena’s left leg. Her right one seems fine. Look low near the ankle in the pic with the feet close together. The lettering behind her may be tricking my eye. It says Macy at ankle level. The curve starts at the Y and you can see it curve all the way to the knee.
<shrug> Maybe it is just the way he’s standing.
She is a pretty girl and from what I’ve heard, and has a promising career ahead.
