I never did because it was too much damn work to manage it properly, and I was paranoid that I’d fuck it up.

Well, what else can we say? Sometimes I hear about these situations and think, “Maybe it would be better for that person.” But is that really the person I want to be? The person who said, “Sure, go ahead, kill yourself. Go and rest easy.”
Life is wonderful to me. Some days are hard of course but why would I want to deprive the good parts to anyone else?
What do you suggest we say to people who want to kill themselves?
Life doesn’t have to be scarce for it to be enjoyable. Pizza isn’t scarce, and I love that shit, yo. So yeah, you really shouldn’t kill yourself. Unless you work in HR, in which case you should probably go ahead and do it.
