I was going to bump the poll on Nedna, given that we saw what the Simpsons were going to do with it – first Ned comes on, referencing the poll, but Homer cuts him off. So the Simpsons are doing their trademark, “start to self-reference then don’t.” But somehow, it was just like I said in that thread, we still don’t know where they’re going to go with it.
I enjoyed it ok. I wasn’t a fan of 24, so I’m afraid some of the jokes in that direction may have missed me.
I kinda liked the way they played the Nedna angle. To be honest, I had totally forgotten about it until he popped up with " the major change in my life". hehehe
I thought it was a fine episode. Not as good as the glory years of the Simpsons, but much better than some people seem to think the Simpsons can ever be these days. I really liked the Korean animation.
I do love these threads and try to start them…but…bad week…
I thought it was a good Simpsons, I liked how they did the “nedna” reveal and thought the little phrase at the end was cute.
American Dad was GREAT! Cee lo Green as a rapping hot tub? musical numbers throughout? And I love it when Steve sings in his Michael Jackson tribute way.
I did not like AD at all. It was just weird. And not in a good way.
Cleveland show was great if only for Ric Flair WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOing a hundred times. Kind of a cheat drawing him like he was straight from the 80’s instead of how he looks now, but whatchagonnado.
FG I don’t even remember by this point. The FG cameos on Cleveland were well done, tho. Especially Stewie and Brian not wanting to open the door.
Simpsons, never cared for the idea of Flandbapple, sorry they’re apparently keeping it.
Is there a Simpson thread for 10-2-2011? That was the most I laughed at an episode in over a decade I would say. The Grandpa rant finishing up with “but I like Colbert because I don’t get the joke” floored me and the whole Teddy Roosevelt is the one thing to inspire Bart was awesome for me at least.
