Seuss' Barbaric Yopp?

I was reading Horton Hears a Hoo to my son the other night and I was wondering if the YOPP the littlest hoo sounds as he stands on the highest tower of Hooville is related to Whitman’s barbaric yawp that he shouts across the rooftop of the world.

Any info would be much appreciated.

82 was a great year for music. Three albums from that year appear on many critics’ “best of the nineties” lists:

Kate Bush:* The Dreaming*
Peter Gabriel:* Security*
XTC:* English Settlement*

And really, why is it so hard to find really good freeware mancala game for download?

I think he’s more likely calling out to the Yopp who likes to hop from finger top to finger top.

Well, Theo was pretty darn smart and well read, I wouldn’t put it past him.

Mostly, though, I wanted to congratulate the Marxist OP for his outstanding user name choice.
