Sex and/in Showers.

Any spontaneous sex is planned in advance. Seriously, I prefer to make an evening of it and hygiene is important. The shower doesn’t literally have to happen right before but if it’s necessary then it’s always nice to have someone who can scrub my back.

I don’t recall showering before sex, at least, not showering because I knew sex was coming. I shower nightly anyway.
After, no. I once had sex in the shower, so thats impossible to answer.
I don’t have sex anymore. But I still shower.

Yes, several of us already said that we do indeed fall asleep together after sex. It’s not so bad, and I’m a bit of a germ-o-phobe. Let’s face it, after all the sweaty licky kissy stuff you just did together laying in a little vaginal juice and semen isn’t the end of the world.

My sentiments exactly!

Unless there’s a reason why sex was particularly messy, I don’t get out of bed. If I have to get up anyway to use the bathroom, I usually clean up a bit while I’m in there. But often, both of us just go to sleep. I’ve never woken up “stuck to the sheets”, either. Maybe I’m Teflon coated. :stuck_out_tongue:

I’m a reasonably clean person, but some of you people seem to be neat freaks. We usually wash up beforehand, out of courtesy to eacj other, but spontaneous sex has been known to happen. We invariably clean up afterwards, but (especially if it’s late at night) that rarely involves a full shower. Pepper Mill finds that, after bedroom gymnastics, she invariably has to pee, anyway.

I like to shower before, when I know sex is on the horizon. I like smelling clean and it’s the perfect time to shave my legs.
Afterwards, it depends on how exuberant we were.

Showering beforehand is all part of the anticipation, and I think it’s a courtesy to the other person. Afterwards, well it depends on the time of day and the amount of energy involved, and whatever we’re doing afterwards.

I always shower in the morning, I hate the idea of going to work all sticky! Last thing at night though, that’s different…that’s for snuggling up and sleeping.

Falling asleep after sex without at least peeing first is asking for a urinary tract infection for women.

I’m far from a germophobe. But while bodily fluids are fun and exciting in the heat of the moment, I find them much less so in the morning. YMMV, obv.

If you didn’t wake up this morning in a dried-up wetspot, you ain’t living your life right.

And I didn’t

The other side of that coin… if you take a shower after then waking up to a warm-wet-one is much more likely.
