I would be bothered if I found that my partner was thinking of somebody else. But closing your eyes doesn’t mean that. It can also just be a concentration on the physical sensations, smells, touch, etc. To claim that all eye closing is avoidance of the real partner is ludicrous.

I think full on eye contact is awkward during sex. When I close my eyes it allows me to focus on the sensations and the taste/touch/smell of my partner’s skin. That being said, my partner keeps his eyes open and likes watching me enjoying the intimacy.
I’ve imagined fantasies during sex. I don’t see anything wrong with it. If I wasn’t completely happy with my partner I wouldn’t be with them. It’s not related.
