I always have my eyes closed during foreplay and intercourse. I guess it just helps me to focus and it seems to make sex much more enjoyable for me. Sometime my husband will say “look at me” while we are in the act, and I have to force myself to do it. I just feels uncomfortable and distracting to me.
Was just curious about others experience with this.
Sometimes I have to close them because the tactile sensations are very strong and I just can’t be paying attention to so much stuff at the same time. The only time I had anybody remark on it, it was… ehm… special circumstances (the people I’d gone to the club with had left me behind for him to take to his home, he though I’d agreed to it, then I insisted he take me “home”, he did, claimed I had to at least give him a kiss, and I was trembling like a leaf and closed my eyes, he laughed at me for closing my eyes and then he realized it was my first kiss and that I wasn’t jerking him around, I was terrified).
My best guess will be that men prefer to keep their eyes open so they can enjoy the visual pleasure of pleasing their partner. I know I do.
