I imagine what happened here is engorgement to the point that the pressure was an adverse factor preventing blood vessels from opening enough for the blood to leave the affected area.

I’ve had to call the fire department to get bolt cutters in a similar situation. My patient waited a day to come in to the ER. Not so funny in the sense patient likely permanently impotent and divorced, and certainly wrong if any pictures were posted without the patients written permission.

No, that’s the point of a cock ring, blood that makes it way past the wring can’t get back out. The problem with metal ones (as opposed to plastic or leather) is that you can’t get them off at home if you find yourself in this situation.

The was my first thought, I’m not sure if you looked a the picture but the ring cutters I’ve seen at ERs and fire departments weren’t going to handle that. The ring is probably a half to 3/4 of an inch thick.

Looks like grease. Maybe they tried to slide it off first, as for why it’s green, I’m not sure, possibly just contaminated with everything else that’s been going on. Hacksaws (metal filings), tools from the workshop downstairs. Who knows.

I’ve done this before on a pretty baroque device, used a power cutter, a bit like a dremel, had to cut through in 2 places, it’s not a sterile procedure. Doctors could barely contain their laughter? Fucking amateurs.
