Sex robots for Incels?

The Great And Powerful Trixie, if you please.

So… Since this is apparently the thread where we’re talking about incels, I feel like maybe this is a good place to share this video.

Incels | Contrapoints

Contrapoints has kind of a tour de force look at incels. One key takeaway: the “black pill” philosophy of many incels is less of a philosophy and more of a death cult - “Your attractiveness to others is inherent in your biology, nobody will ever love you because of your biology, you will never be happy because of that.” It’s a self-perpetuating ideology that you are worthless, nothing you can do will change that (attempts to convince them otherwise is “chadsplaining”), and therefore you can never be happy. Hence why, in Contrapoints’s words, the Incel “movement” has churned out mass murderers at a higher rate than Marvel puts out avengers movies.

What these people need is not girlfriends, sex bots, or the like. They need intervention and therapy. Badly.

“Incels” came into being in the 1990’s, about when I left North America. Are there many of them? In many different countries?

Back in the day, many of us were getting laid seldom if at all. It made us sad, I suppose; we sometimes offered each other advice. But I never saw the self-pity or misogyny of these “incels.” What has caused this change? Many young men live empty lives, playing computer games in isolation. Unable to find work, they may just play more computer games. Is this part of the problem? And do Internet porn and the media’s obsession with sexy women lead to confused expectations?

Has technology led to a giant cultural shift, with the rise of “incels” just one symptom?

I started the video posted upthread about a German guy in love with his sex doll. I felt so much pity (and disgust) for the guy I had to stop watching after a few minutes.

I still think my advice to discard computer, discard smart-phone, pack a back-pack and make a long tour (perhaps to foreign lands) meeting people is the best hope for these desperate young men. But OP wasn’t interested in my advice — he just wants taxpayers to hurry up and buy him a sex robot.
