I think the SOP is to say to ask the hostess if there is a Cecil Adams party. If there’s not, establish one so everyone else will be directed to that table.

Thanks for the offer–Zach’s is my wife’s fave, but the chunkiness is a definite non-starter. I’m actually quite surprised the Dopefest is being held there because every time I pass by, the place is overflowing. I’ve never once had occasion to sit down in there–To Go is always the only viable option (that or sitting in the small Mexican place across the street).
Maybe next time–The Blue Nile on Telegraph is terrific Ethiopian food, so we’ll convert you yet, VV.

I told my husband to bring what Giants tickets he has left. If anyone wants Giants tickets, or likes the Giants, or has heard of the Giants, you can actually converse with him about that. The last (only) Dopefest I was able to get him to come to he was aghast that someone would willingly go by the name “PurpleCrackWhore.” It sort of went downhill from there.
I’m looking forward to seeing old chums and meeting new ones, though! Are we going to have trouble getting in, or do you have an inside hook-up, inkleberry?
