"Shake a leg bone, come with me, down to Nashville, Tennessee..."

If you clicked on this thread, I presume you’ve heard this tiny song snippet in a Warner Brothers cartoon. The plot involves a romantic triangle between Daffy, a lady duck, and a big strong duck with a southern accent. The big strong duck sings this snippet to the lady duck on the beach.

Does anyone know if this was from a complete song? Or was it just dashed off for the cartoon?

Google reveals nothing.

I don’t recall either the song, or the cartoon.

Could you be recalling another character? Or mishearing the lyrics.

The song was performed by Dinah Shore.

Aw, now a link would have been nice. (And it looks like the actual line is "Chick-a-ling bone, come with me. . . . " I never knew, either.)
