Everyone should receive your roles sometime tomorrow (Saturday). All players are either Minor Characters, Major Characters, or Villains. Major Characters and Minor Characters will win (and the Villains will lose) if the Villains are all dead. The Villains will win (and the Major and Minor Characters will lose) if they control the vote (see voting rules, below). Everyone will win or lose with your team, regardless of whether you personally are alive or dead.

All Minor Character roles follow the same pattern: Your role name, followed by a brief quote from one of the plays, either by or about your character. Minor characters can potentially be drawn from any of the plays (though obviously not all of them, with this few people). I made a list of a whole bunch of minor characters, including multiple from each play, and then randomly selected names from that list. All names are from this list, and quotes are from the versions of the play as found at the Folger Shakespeare Library. Minor characters can vote for the lynch, like anyone else, but have no further powers. A sample Minor Character role PM (for a character who is not in the game) is shown below:

Major Characters all have some sort of special ability. The role PM for a Major Character is similar to one for a minor character, but the quote might be followed by additional information needed for your role, such as “Every night, you may target one player.”.

Villains are free, if they so choose, to share the format of their role PMs. All villains will be invited to a group chat. The game will be in a set of threads. Any active player may post at any time in either the current game thread, or (if a villain) in the villain group chat. Anyone can also PM me (and should, if you have a target to submit). No other channels of communication about the game, including PMs, the spectators’ thread, or image-sharing sites, are permitted.

Voting will be approval voting (or, I suppose, disapproval voting): Anyone may vote for as many other players as they like. Please put your votes (or unvotes) in bold, and on its own line, like such:
Vote Chronos
I will count votes in other formats, if I see them, but this makes it much easier for me. At the end of each Day, the player receiving the most votes will be lynched. All vote tallies will be cleared each Day, so if you wish to continue voting for the same person or people, you will need to re-cast your vote(s).

Ties in the vote will be resolved alphabetically: If there is a tie for first place for the lynch, the lynchee will be the one among the tied players whose role name comes last alphabetically. Yes, it is theoretically possible to game this. If you think you can pull it off, you are welcome to try.

Participation is essential to the game. If any player goes for 7 consecutive days (i.e., 168 hours, or 10080 minutes) without posting to the game threads, they will be removed from the game. If this happens before the end of Day 2 and there is an alternate available, that alternate will take over the role. If there is no alternate, or this happens after the end of Day 2, that player will simply be mod-killed and revealed as normal for a kill.

The Day cycle will run from Saturday at 11:30 AM until Thursday at 11:30 AM, and Night will be from Thursday 11:30 AM to Saturday 11:30 AM. All times are EDT (GMT -4).

If you have any questions for me, as the game-runner, please also put those on their own line and in bold, as so:
Will there be an intermission?
