Sorry - I was dead all last week. I really really wanted to go to that kegger too, damn. I can definately make this friday though. 
Very easy directions to clear up the jumble above:
1.) Somehow get on I-4
2.) Find Exit 1 (21st street)
3.) Get off of I-4, by taking Exit 1 and heading south (into Ybor - if you need to know which way south/Ybor is, get a damn globe)
4.) Stay in your right hand lane
5.) When you get to the intersection of 21 st street and Palm ave there will be a streetlight. This is a mere two blocks from I-4.
6.) Make a right onto Palm. This is the ‘backroad’ there are many places to park here. This is where everyone used to park before the Parking Garage came about.
7.) Take this road down to about 15th or so. Dont’ go too far or you’ll end up passing Ybor.
8.) Park your car
9.) Assuming your are at the intersection of 15th and Palm, walk south two blocks on 15th until you get to 8th (this is heading towards the main strip)
9a.) 8th is a road under heavy construction, where no cars are allowed to park. They are building what appears to be train/trolley tracks here.
10.) Turn right at 8th/the tracks.
11.) Walk one and a half blocks. You will probably have to skirt some minor construction obstacles.
12.) Look for small outdoors bar on left, after a small parking lot and an old firehouse no longer in use by the county. It will have a iron fence around the place, and be full of patio furniture.
13.) Give person at door money.
14.) Go inside.
15.) Locate indoors interior bar area.
16.) Saddle up to the bar.
17.) Order several drinks because these directions are annoying.
18.) Drink them fast.
19.) Still remember directions which went on waaaay too long and order more shots.
20.) Repeat 18 & 19 until you run out of money.
No seriously, there are closer parking places, ubt they’re a pain to get to by car, and if you park near 15th it’s only a short walk (3 Ybor blocks or so) to the place.
