It’s gotten excellent reviews from babywearing sites, and since my kid much prefers to be worn in a sling or carrier than be in the stroller, I wanted something that wouldn’t hurt my back - people can wear their heavy toddlers in this and not feel it.
ElzaHub’s happy because now he doesn’t have to birthday shop for me .
As mentioned in my recent thread (that garnered absolutely no replies, but thats beside the point) I recently bought these two lovely figurines of Torgo and the Master from Manos: The Hands of Fate.
I’m still waiting for them to arrive. I guess that the most recent thing I’ve actually recieved after buying it online was a Benjamin Franklin action figure from Archie McPhee (bought for my little brother for Christmas.) It arrived in good condition and was very reasonably priced (in my humble opinion.) If only I’d known that he already had one…
I bought these Pumas a week or two ago. Very last pair they had in my size. I love them. I also bought some Gap jeans online, but I’m running Safari right now and I can only navigate there with Firefox.
I bought a seed beed mix very similar to this one from this seller. I was disappointed with how small 5 grams of beads actually is, but that’s not the seller’s fault! (And the 40 grams total I received was plenty for the project I was using them for.)
I’ll buy from her again. I really like the color palettes she puts together, and the price I paid was reasonable. Delica beads in stores are quite pricey.
I bought 200 double CD jewel cases, because I am almost completely out of space to store any more CDs in this room. I’ll have to start doubling up discs to get some space back. The cases from this company cost about $20 less than at other places, so it was a bargain, even though the shipping was $25.
I bought a weasel ball, thanks to Dopers raving about them. I didn’t buy from the Weasel Ball people because I don’t use PayPal, and that’s the only payment option they had. (The link goes to Harriett Carter.)
The ball is cute as heck and fun to watch, but it eats batteries! I’m using Fuji batteries and I get about five minutes of action and then it’s dead.
Thanks to the Customer Vote promo on Amazon dot com, winning the lottery for purchase, employee discount and other parameters, I got this for $16.01 out the door.
I bought this dress with a gift card from my mom. It’s possibly the most flattering dress that I’ve ever owned, fat or thin, and I feel absolutely hot in it. Now, for a date on which to wear it…
While cruising the CafePress site, I discovered to my delight that they now print on black T-shirts, so I whomped up a design, uploaded it, and ordered one as a test. If the quality is good, I’ll be designing more.
I got a message on 2006-12-29 that it had shipped. I await it this coming week.
My most recent on-line purchase was a recording of the Britten War Requiem from Amazon. I wanted to have a listen before we start rehearsals of it. We’re performing it in Perth and Sydney in February.
