Isn’t that going to skew old?
On the mommy-boards I was surprised to learn that trimming is so popular among housewives in their 20s and 30s. I can’t find the poll we ran, but IIRC about 3/4 are doing it.
OTOH, I first started drawing nudes about 25 years ago and I’ve probably seen 60 naked women (men are used less frequently). Most of them were in their 20s at the time they modeled. And I honestly can’t recall ever seeing one who was completely bald. Even trimming is really unusual, in that crowd. They generally don’t shave their legs or armpits, either.
I’ve seen quite a few in person (20?). I was shocked, and a little put off, when I saw my first “hairy” woman about a month ago.
I’m 21 and most of those women are about my age. I really think it’s an age issue. You’ll be hard-pressed to find a girl my age that doesn’t shave, I think.
As for guys under 25, I’ve never heard of another guy plucking his eyebrows or anything like that. It’s just wierd.
So how many gay guys are at your gym?
I’m in my early 40s & became sexually active in the early 80’s. I saw very few shaved or trimmed snatches outside of porn until around 1993. It’s become more common since then. All my girlfriends since my divorce in 2002 keep themselves trimmed or shaved. My current gf is also in her 40’s and she trims her area.
Most women I have been with find the idea of a man shaving his pubic area odd, but that might be because I usually date women over 30.
I pluck my brows to keep them from growing together and to get rid of those long hairs that produce the Brezhnev look.
Genital depilation is as old as time itself. I saw a Roman relief last quarter that depicted it. I’ll see if I can dig it up.

Never shaved (except at bikini line), sometimes trimmed as warranted.
Until this past year. New SO who is wonderful to me asked if he could shave me. So I let him. (Hair grows back) It was really weird at first, but I got used to it. I will let him do it whenever he wants, because it makes him happy and doesn’t hurt me.
I won’t shave there myself, 'cause I can’t shave my legs without injury.
How does Brezhnev not have any razor stubble, yet such “prominent” eyebrows?
I think being dead since 1982 helps with the stubble.

I’m a 31 year old guy and I shave everything but my legs and eyebrows. None of the women I’ve been with seem to mind, and now shaving is almost addicting. Being hairless just feels so much cleaner and fresher to me.
I just fixed myself a bowl of frosted mini wheats for breakfast and then I came in here to lurk.

Anecdote time. My ex-GF thought shaved was sexier, and she also thought that letting me shave her would be the height of intimacy. After a few small cuts, she changed her mind pretty fierce 
I personally only like unshaved if the labia is not saggy. Huge-ass labia freak me out.
I’m thinking that, as far as guys are concerned, the “anti-hirsute” trend may be a young, gay thing. I know hundreds of gay guys, of all ages from teen through 70s, and the younger guys tend to shape their eyebrows, shave their bodies, crotches, etc. Personally, I can’t wait for this trend to be over. I HATE shaped eyebrows on a guy. I’d even rather see a monobrow. But then again, I’m one of the old fogies.
Some spas even make a distinction among bikini wax, Playboy bikini wax, and Brazilian bikini wax.
I just don’t know if I could ever bring myself to do it. The thought of the pain…
