I was hoping for some Spader-Man merch, but alas!
A criminal lawyer doesn’t know much about IP law and hires someone else for help. This makes sense.
Loved the contents of the hatbox at the end.
Spader-Man, Spader-Man,
Does whatever James Spader can
I was in a rather cheap toy store once that was selling “Call Off Duty” [sic] merch. Was sorely tempted to buy some.
Note that in the end credit sketches she’s hold an “Avongers” mug in an evidence bag.
It did raise a question-what legal separation is there for She-Hulk vs. Jen Walters? Up till now except for Spider-Man no one’s really had a secret identity, or not that we’ve seen (it can be argued no one really knew Bruce Banner was the Hulk). Should Jen have told him? Could Steve Rogers (or Iron Man) be sued for what Tony Stark did (or vice versa)?
And why the heck is Matt Murdock on the West Coast?
She didn’t hire someone else. She just didn’t represent herself.
I don’t see any evidence that he’s on the West Coast, Looks like the designer was going to ship the helmet. Since Melvin Potter went on the run, Matt needs a new supplier of specialty clothes.
Which is itself interesting since it implies he’s well-known enough to order a helmet. Or maybe the designer owed him a favor. (Or maybe it’s Matthew Murdock).
The simplest answer is that Daredevil is friends with a billionaire who would be happy to spring for a fancy costume.
High school student Peter Parker is bitten by a radioactive actor, gaining the proportional speed and strength of James Spader.
So, have any of the usual suspects complained about the casting of a black woman to play Mallory Book (who is white in the comics)? Or is she too obscure a character?
Give it time.
Yeah, they have bigger fish to fry at the moment.
ISWYDT.
This is like asking asking if Cherilyn Sarkisian can be sued for what Cher does. Yes. They’re the same person not legally distinct entities.
What about if one name is in ALL CAPITALS?
That makes it a capital offense.
“I’m not leaping great distances, I’m traveling!” – She-Hulk
Even if she was an IP lawyer representing yourself is seen as a terrible idea even if you are a lawyer.
Yeah, I was glad we got to see the Iron Man 3’s sneakers.
