She-Hulk: Attorney at Law

Not to mention Deadpool, Cyclops, I think I saw the Thing, Green Goblin…just fun throwaway bits, I expect.

Very sure that Tony Stark owned the name Iron Man from word go. He probably owned the names Spider-Man and Hulk too!

A hijack, but is it wrong that I really want Stilt-Man (or Lady Stilt-Man) to show up either here or in Daredevil (though the second is unlikely with the more serious tone)?

True - it’s still nice to see even an implied acknowledgement that there are different kinds of lawyers (see also the omni-scientist who can analyze a spacecdrive one week and develop a vaccine for a new disease the next (all while cracking into a secure computer system in the background))

I should apologize-I took your statement as being sarcastic. Downside of text, I suppose.

Alright, you. Out of the pool!

Man, you guys wouldn’t treat me this way if you knew I was part of the Avingers.

Since you are a Warner Brothers character, you would have to join the Justice Leegue, I think.

Speaking of Warner Brothers, I liked the Sopranos reference from the previous episode, which is owned (AFAIK) by HBO/Warner Brothers. I’m glad they’re willing to put in some references in these shows that aren’t Star Wars or Pixar. Feels more organic, and less like an ad.

Yeah, that seems like the sort of thing Tony would take care of.

Is it just me, or does Titania seem like a really weak arch-nemesis? Not in power, but in terms of being interesting. The shitty magician last week was far more interesting than she’s been so far, and I’m saying that as a fan of the actresses work in The Good Place.

Hope her episodes pick up.

I was stoked to see the Daredevil mask at the end, as I’m a fan of the Charlie Cox series. Hope it’s a good episode.

No problem - upon rereading my comment I can easily see how it could be read as sarcastic. I need a sincerity emoji.

It’s not just you. When it had been revealed, at the end of the previous episode, that Titania had trademarked the She-Hulk name, it suggested (at least to me) that she had some business savvy. But, in this episode, she came across as just a vapid social media star, and it wasn’t at all clear if using the She-Hulk name had even been her idea.

Absolutely. Jameela Jamil was a treasure on The Good Place and she seems woefully underused here.

In one of the Perry Mason novels (The Case of the Ice-Cold Hands, possibly?), Hamilton Burger threatens legal action against him, and Mason says he wants an attorney, which Burger thinks is ridiculous, as Mason is more than competent as a lawyer himself. Mason then repeats the famous quote “An attorney who represents himself has a fool for a client.” (Or words to that effect.) As it works out, he isn’t charged with anything and doesn’t consult another attorney.

Could Matt be on the West Coast because he’s representing Happy with respect to stolen Stark tech?

But did he gain the proportional snark of James Spader?

One would hope so!

The Daredevil helmet had a tag “For Pickup”. Would Matt trust anyone else to pick it up?

Foggy.

Maybe Daredevil helmets are the new truck nutz.
