…like when we used to climb the ropes in gym class." Ok: there was a column a while ago asking is it possible to have an orgasm without physical contact. In the response there was reference to several women who have had “psychic orgasms,” where women could come by mere concentration. That’s cool enough, but I was shocked there was nothing about people climbing poles or ropes. One of my most distinct childhood memories is from climbing a pole and having an orgasm. I recently tryed this again and I was pleasantly surprised to learn that it still works. I’ve talked to a few guys who know about this, and the staff member here who aswered my question (a girl), and that quote from Wayne’s World…but I don’t have the foggiest idea why it works. Maybe Cecil will answer is his post, but are there any doctors here or anything that have a hypothesis? At no time does your penis/clit touch the pole/rope, but you come. And for anybody out there with a playground in their neighboorhood, its quite intense…just go at night when the kids are sleeping huh?
thanks man…so essentially your legs while climbing stimulate the perineum, the mass of nerves between your anus and scrotum/vagina?? Sounds cool, but I was unaware you could have an orgasm via the perineum…cause they are orgasms and they’re strong ones. peace…pleasant climbing
I had followed the earlier thread and was not at all satisfied with the conjectures posted. My conjecture follows.
Let’s start with the biology of third nipples. (Are you done giggling yet? May we continue?) Third nipples generally occur along curved lines that start above the usual nipples, pass down a few inches wide of the navel, thru the edges of the pubic regions, skip over the gap to the thighs for bit. These two lines are erogenous zones folks. You get orgasms when rubbed along them. (You can experiment later, I’m not done.) Now look at the region a rope tends to rub against while climbing. Notice anything? End of conjecture.
Perineums and prostate glands? What sort of weird gym teacher taught them to climb ropes?
hmm…that’s interesting, but I’m pretty sure it has more to do with the climbing motion…like when you latch on with your feet (1), when you pull up and gain distance from the ground with your arms (2), and when you pull up with your legs sort of frog-style (3). I’m pretty sure its during 3 where the sensation is built up…it could be your rubbing your ‘third nipple,’ but I think its somewhere in that motion. The perineum explanation doesn’t really satisfy me either…come on somebody’s gotta know the straight dope???
