I’ve not been around in quite awhile, been busy with the school life, work, and my nasty computer geek habits. But anyways I proposed to my wonderful girlfriend of about 2 1/2 years today and she said yes. I’m so happy 
The wedding will be next summer sometime. Anyways I just figured I’d share with all you wonderful Dopers who have throughout the last couple of years made me laugh, cry, and generally doubt my sanity.

I had it all planned. I was going to take off half a day of work. Go out buy some wine, candles, and then make my homemade lasagna, ya know a nice little happy romantic evening at home. Unfortunately it didn’t work out that way. I was originally going to do it Friday but she was having a really shitty day Monday, so I just kinda suprised her with it Monday evening. Needless to say it made her quite a bit happier than what she was, not to mention I don’t think I could have kept it a secret much longer.
