I am so sorry, Biggirl.
I lost my two older cats a couple of years ago. I lost my mom on May 12th, my cats in May and Oct, and my brother the next May 2nd. The year from Hell.
My cats are my children. And I know that you have children, but I don’t get the sense that you feel any differently than I do.
My heart goes out to you.

Soon, we’ll get a new cat. There wasn’t even any discussion about this, we all just knew we’d get another. The kids wanted a kitten, but Houseman and I think it would be better to go to the ASPCA and get an older, harder to place cat.
We’ll do that, not right now though.
I’m sorry to hear about your cat. I’m happy that you had such a good cat for a long time, and I’m sure that your next cat, from the ASPCA, will be a wonderful cat too. I have never met a cat I didn’t like.
