I was w/out cable for several months. I just got it again, and turned to Comedy Central to see what’s happenin, and what do I see but:
New episoes of Shorties Watching Shorties!?!
Oh my God, how has this monstrosity survived?
Do people actually like it?

You see how long it took them to kill off Colin Quinn. Sometimes Comedy Central can be the stupidest network on TV.
I’ve never gotten the point of this show. I’m glad I’m not the only one. If I want to see stand-up, I want to see stand-up, not some friggin cartoon interpretation which actually makes it less funny.
The actual cartoon representations aren’t that horrible, they don’t really bother me - although I would rather just watch the comedian deliver the jokes. What I really hate is the horrible horrible jokes the babies tell inbetween sketches. The babies talk about getting laid or drinking or something else “adult”, and that is the core joke for the entire show. At least it makes the comedians seem funnier by contrast.
I was just going to make a post declaring this show the least funny thing on television.
But then i realized that “Crank Yankers” is still on!
Dr. Katz used to have cartoon versions of stand up acts of the comedians he was treating. It was a lot funnier.
Dr. Katz was genius. It played on the fact that most stand up routines were something that would fit in quite well in a session with a psychiatrist. There were also the great scenes with his loser son in between things. Anyone up for a game of guess who? 
Don’t tease me now, Mr. Blue Sky, I’m still in a vunerable place from the election. Did they finally cancel the worst show ever put on TV? :eek: I shall prepare a celebration!
