Should I bring a flower? If yes what kind?

That’s just it. When I went there I didn’t have the flower. I was chatting with some of the waitstaff (multiple ages) there that knows me and asked if I was going to give her a flower. I had said no mostly because of the advice from here but then the male bartender said “Dude get her a flower, you know your type and if she thinks the flower is bad then she is not your type and you won’t waste time on another relationship that will fail due to differences” So I goggled florists and found one a block away.

I think he was right.

Stealth Bragging, of course.

Congrats, Manny. Glad to hear it went well. At the end of the date, did you make plans for a second outing?

Also, just out of curiosity, did she know that you used free passes to take her out?

Yes we did agree we want to see each other again. Right now the next date (and it’s a date) is scheduled for the 21st but we may be seeing each other on Sunday.

She knows I used free passes and it’s something that we discussed ahead of time. She had told me that after we made plans to go there she was telling a friend who just happened to have two free tickets on her which the friend gave to her. So she said she would use them for the show.

I said that’s funny because I had passes and was going to use them. I said we have three options I can use my passes for us, you can use them for us or we each use one. She said that I can use my passes to take her out. So everything was up front and open.

yay, a happy ending

He didn’t even kiss her, so I doubt they went that far. Though hand-holding *can *be pretty hot…

Oh! not the massage parlor kind of happy ending. Maybe happy beginning would be more appropriate :stuck_out_tongue:

MannyL, if flowers must be involved in your comedy club date, wear one on your lapel.

Go MannyL!
