Sent in an application early this week and I have not recieved a call back. Would they atleast call me to tell me I did not get it? Should I call to see if they got it since I mailed it?
IMHO, it’s always a good idea to check up on job applications.
I’ve had several employers tell me that they wait until people call because that shows that you are really interested.
Absolutely, you should call. Don’t make a pest of yourself, but sound genuinely interested. It gives a good impression, and shows that you are interested in the job.
What about places that expressly state “No phone calls” in the ad. Is it okay to call as a follow up after you’ve sent out a resume to them?
