Should I see Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure?, need answer fast

So, my local art deco theater plays old movies from time to time and I sometimes go. Now you may argue why pay 8$ for a movie you can rent for a fraction of that, or own for not much more and you’d have a point. But, some movies are just great on a big screen, with a crowd. Such as, Fiddler on the Roof, Wizard of Oz, Harold and Maude, Bonnie and Clyde, Casablanca, The Searchers. Others not so much.
I’ve never seen Bill and Ted, so what say you dopers?

Yes.

It’s not exactly a classic, but it’s a lot of fun. If you go, there’ll probably be a lot of other people who actually like the movie, and laughing with a group is always better than laughing by yourself.

Hell yes! Party on!

Well . . . the answer . . . is . . . yes— SAN DIMAS HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL RULES!

One of my all time favorites.

Best time travel movie of all time.

Yes, yes you should.

You must learn to be excellent to each other. So yeah, see the flick!

Yes you should definitely go. Have a most excellent time.

Bill and Ted is one of my favorite movies.

Definitely worth seeing although I wouldn’t say it’s worth $8 but Bosstone makes a good case why it may be.

Absolutely! IMHO no one should go through life without knowing the greatness that is the Wyld Stallyns.

Go. And say hi to the princesses for me.

If you don’t go, it would be bogus.

I just saw part of this on cable this weekend for the first time in about 20 years. My favorite quote: “That conversation made more sense this time!”

See it!

Yes you must see it. Hurry! Hurry!

Absolutely! So many great moments… and George Carlin!!!

I say no. Don’t see it.

But then I come back in later and totally change my mind.

But then knowing that I’d do that, I write a note to myself that tells me to ignore what’s on this message board.

But knowing I’d write a note, I go back in time and switch my pen’s ink with disappearing ink. So I don’t get my note, so I do change my mind, so I tell you to go see Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventure.

Whoa.

Strange things are afoot at the Circle K.

Of course you should see it — then watch Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban immediately afterwards. Why? Because “genius” Hermione is less able to understand time travel than “dumb” Ted!

For a slightly more serious answer, I don’t think it is a film that needs to be seen on a big screen but you should check it out. It’s a fun romp, a send up of history, time travel, and SF hidden in a wrapper of a teen comedy. For a film with a “dumb” reputation I wish more movies could be half as smart as this film. So $8 to see on a big screen is good for nostalgia; for you just rent the movie and check it out.
