I think the consensus is you may not enjoy the results, but the rest of us will laugh at them for years to come. 
Except when I do it. I mean, check out the OP. I kinda feel like Johnny Fever in that episode of WKRP in Cincinatti. The one where the station is doing a “don’t drive drunk” promotion. Johnny Fever’s reflexes get sharper and faster the more he drinks.
When I wrote the OP, I was more than a little toasted. But it seems clearer to me than what I just wrote. Go figure.
Posting on the SDMB while fully tanked is OK - just don’t sign on to Ameritrade or ETrade, or Charles Schwab!!!
How can it be ever clear if you shoot at posts while drunk? Hell, you can hardly even see the damn post, and if you shoot at it the noise will bring the damn cops every time. Take it from me, never shoot at posts while your drunk.

Obviously, you’re frequenting the wrong backroads. And probably using a weapon with too high a caliber. When shooting out posts while driving drunk I use a .9 ml Glock. Only one run-in with the county mounties thus far and I managed to escape by hiding in Wilbur’s barn, although covering the General Lee with hay took longer than I would’ve liked.
Oh yeah, as usual, I’m drinking right now. But luckily I’m at home.
