I’m loving seeing all these too! I haven’t looked at my prom pictures in a long time, but I’m going back home this weekend and fully plan on digging them all out.
I have a wedding pic though - I loved it despite the fact I was getting married outdoors, in April on an island in Puget sound. (It’s sleeveless.) I figured I could deal with being cold through the ceremony, just so I could wear that specific dress. It also turned out to be 74 degrees and sunshiny that day. What luck!!
No wedding pic either - elopement, you know. I did wear a long dress for my parents’ 25th anniversary party (25 years ago) and another for my sister’s wedding (20 years ago) but I have no idea where any photos of these are. And I’m not much of a girly-girl - I don’t like getting all dressed up, I don’t get my hair done, I don’t do makeup.
ummmm, I could post a photo of my Perfect Child[sup]TM[/sup] in her prom dress - I made the dress - does that count?
All the dresses are beautiful…but only as lovely as the ladies in them. Way to go ladies.
I eloped too, but had a real wedding 3 months later.
I should mention some things about my prom dress, since you can’t seek the skirt. It was cinderella cut (aka handkerchief hem, I believe) with some layers being black satin and others white satin, and the top layer or two was fine black netting. The top was black satin. I got the dress for $50 because it was ripped. It took me all of 5 min to repair
