I logged in to Webshots. Still couldn’t see Desert Geezer’s work.
Maastricht, thanks for the kind words! I think you have a real ability there, for your cut-out profiles. Quite remarkable!
SPOOFE, yes, I think your rendering has sharpened up and become more sophisticated. (Though there is something great about a “loose” rendering style, but it’s got to be done in a certain way . . . )
My apologies to all. I guess you have to join WebShots.com in order to see the community pictures. They do have a free membership, with limited posting privileges, but I don’t blame you if you don’t want to sign up. Just one more set of info. The pix were’nt worth it anyway,
Alright, I figured out how to use this Yahoo Photos thing, so here are mine: link
The first is a large drawing of a T. rex skull, using my keychain as a reference. This was taken before I cut it up into 5 separate pieces (it was for my art course). I did another on black posterboard with a white-out pen, but I forgot to take a picture of that…
The second is part of my final drawing in the same course. I say part, because I hung it up before taking the picture, and I couldn’t get far enough away to fit the whole thing. Anyway, it’s a 1:1 scale portrait in charcoal, about 3-4 feet tall. It’s better that you don’t see the whole thing; I messed up his right arm something awful.
The third is an old drawing from way back in high school. It’s a Daspletosaurus (kinda like a T. rex). I really only like the head; the rest is bleh.
And it seems Yahoo shrunk the last one down so you can’t see anything anyway… Oh well. It wasn’t that good anyway.
Okay, I went to WebShots “HELP” and found out that, “due to abuse” they don’t allow WebShots pictures to be displayed on other websites anymore. If you are a member, you can look up my public albums under gottshotts, that is, if you aren’t too disgusted with Webshots right now.
By the way, harmless, what’s your WebShots username? I’ll look up your public stuff.
I’ve never uploaded anything.
I just like to download fluffy kittens.
My site with all my work is www.suzi-quzi.com
Sorry for it being so commercial. It’s not like I’ve ever sold any of it. I’m thinking about hoing myself out at the flea market this weekend and see if I can make any money off of these prints that have been sitting in my store for about a month now and maybe pick up a commission or two. Great googly moogly, it’s discouraging though.
My buddy does the penciling. Then he scans it in and I do all the coloring in PhotoShop.
Just a few samples up there for now.
Also, the same buddy and I are JUST getting started on a short CG film… here’s the teaser site (which will soon be a full movie/diary of the film as we work on it):
