Here is roadkiller in all her splendid glory. Apparently Sony ImageStation has went to shit because after I uploaded the photo it became all grainy like that.
That’s the same picture I used in the last picture thread, only with my ex cropped out :).
OpalCat’s got a picture of me in my natural habitat (naked monkey hanging out in a tree), but until she posts it in the SDMB calendar you can see me on my photos page hanging out with the ponykids.
Here’s a couple more. I’m the one in the red jacket. My best fiend is wearing the tuque and shades. The old guy sitting and mugging in the blue kayak is a neighbour who is just getting into the sport.

All you have to do is scan a photograph or load a digital pic onto your computer, then upload it to your website (which is probably provided free by your ISP). Then come back here and post the URL. You can use the vB code to link text to it, or just post the URL.

What’s wrong with a sit-on-top? They’re great! Better suited to the summer, or for my native So. Cal. waters; but nice if you don’t mind sitting in a puddle of freezing water!
I’m looking at a sit-inside. The Necky Santa Cruz looks pretty fun, and it’s not very expensive. I’ll have to go down to the factory and rent one. It’s said that once you get one kayak, you’ll probably get another. I’ve had mine for about a year and a half, so it’s getting time to look at something different. I’d like a nice big fiberglass touring kayak; but they’re too expensive, and too long. I might build a Chesapeake or a Pygmy someday. (Pygmies are “local”.)
