He’s on the side of the angels on a few things (ironic phrasing I’ve stumbled across there) and is a giant, misogynistic douchebag on others.
He’s made some startlingly ignorant posts about women in his time, such as how it makes logical sense to cover your ass by videotaping sexual encounters lest you get accused of rape after the fact, and some other verging-on-MRA stuff. On the other hand, he’s made many pro-women noises in abortion and religion debates, so I think saying he’s “anti-women” is not quite accurate.

Gah, don’t remind me. A billboard went up in a town in this area (northwest Arkansas) with that “anti-racist means anti-white” bullshit. What’s worse is that the owner of the sign shop owner is himself a person of color, yet claims he can’t understand why the sign is racist.
What’s even funnier is that the statement itself is actually racist against white people. It only makes sense if white and racist mean the same thing. It actually is an example where calling someone racist makes you racist.
What I don’t get is why there isn’t anything anyone in the town can do anything about it. Something keeps this sort of thing from happening elsewhere. Having been raised there, it kinda pisses me off.
