Six broods of two each now. Except in the latest clutch of eggs, one egg was unfertilized, so we had an only squab, George. He left home last week. So that makes 11 pigeons in all we’ve helped unleash onto the world, BWA-HAHAHAHAHA!
So if you are aware of the concept of not reading threads you are not interested, what made you go ahead and make this idiotic pitting?
I never even noticed the pigeon thread before, because I’m not interested in them. I’m still not. It doesn’t take passion for pigeons to realize how goddamn stupid a person has to be to complain about a thread that’s valid in every way except you, personally, have no interest in it.
Why do people make these pit threads? Is it bad upbringing, perhaps them growing up to think everything is about them, and others’ interests don’t matter?
Do you write letters of complaint to theaters that play movies you don’t care to watch?
To the OP: fuck you and the horse you rode in on.
I am enjoying Siam Sam’s thread.
If you don’t, I see no reason why you feel the need to bitch about it.
Dude, do you got anger issues or what? Calm down man, it’s just a silly little pit about pigeons.
I posted, because I was currious if anybody else was slightly annoyed by this thread too.
Boy, do I feel stupid. I never opened that thread, but assumed from the subject line it was looking for cooking tips.
You know, a bit like “I’ve got some asparagus - what do you recommend I do with it?”, except this was “I’ve got pigeon eggs”.
I suppose the fact it wasn’t in cafe society should have been a clue.
And in case anyone is in any doubt, I am being a hundred percent serious.
Yeah, that’s almost completely wrong.
Two baby mourning doves are currently growing to adulthood on the ground next to my mother’s house. The nest apparently feel from the window ledge above, the eggs survived and now we have thriving babies. They’re so calm and serene; we creep up to them and watch them from a distance of only about 6 feet. My little boy loves visiting the doves at grandma’s.
Long live bird threads!
Same here. I thought it was a weird Thai cuisine.
I read it yesterday though, and its a very interesting saga. I will continue to check in now!
I’m not angry in the least. I’m just curious, as always, how someone can be so self-centered that they would complain about something existing because they are not interested in it.
I’d still like to know if you complain to the theaters for showing movie that do not interest you. As blisteringly idiotic as that sounds, that would actually be less moronic than this thread. Movie theaters have limited space, so them showing a movie you don’t like takes space where they could be showing a movie you do want to see. Since thread space on a message board is much less limited, you actually have managed to make an even stupider complaint.
No, I see now that was someone else I was thinking of. My bad.
I hope they’re okay on the ground. No cats?
Egad. Sam may not be the benevolent avian scientist I had supposed him to be.
I’ve been worried about cats, too, but none so far! I checked on them last night and they’re fine!
