Signature is retroactive too??

I know that your post count is retroactive, i.e. if you look at your past posts it will display the number of total posts you have currently, not the number you had at the time of the post. whew

But am I going crazy, or is the same thing true of your signature too? I was looking at past posts of mine before I changed my sig, and they were all my current sig! I was looking forward to leaving drops of wisdom on this virtual reality world by changing my sig every once in a while. Ah well… I suppose it’s the children who will suffer.

Your post count, signature, user name, member title, profile, e-mail, web address, and registration date are all queried from the database every time you view a thread.
