I’ve been thinking about (and experiencing) the old phrase of “losing sleep over” someone. How many people actually lost sleep because they were thinking of or doing something for your current or last SO?
Never felt like I was “losing sleep”. I agree with Drain, the precious moments are worth much more than the lost sleep. Then again, I’m on the “good end” of the three hour time difference between us…

Currently am. My husband’s got a terrible cold and is snoring really badly, so I’m literally losing sleep. Add to the mix a baby with tonsillitis and you’ve got a (wilted) Prairie Rose.
The doctor said they’ll both be better by next week. Till then, chicken soup for Bons, breastmilk for Chris, and some lost sleep.

I don’t mind losing sleep when we’re together… that’s what coffee if for in the mornings! We have our best conversations at 1:00 in the morning… even though I have to be up at 5:30. I just wish we had more time together… between work and kids, it’s hard. I miss him right now!
