Silicon Valley, Mike Judge's latest stuff

Nice season end. I saw the judge’s ruling coming, but I didn’t see the route it came from. I certainly didn’t see Mr. Tres Comas’ twist on it.

I’ll definitely be back next season. Even if this show does have a blatant disregard for the existence of modern backup systems, it’s realistic enough to keep me coming back. I knew we were looking at a kernel panic before Gilfoyle explained it. Even if they’re set about by an unlikely chain of events, the explosions look right.

I thought it was a great ending with some good laughs (Oh right, the famous filipino legislator!). Like I said before, I think it would have been just as interesting as a drama.

I really enjoyed this season which I think was even better than the first. In fact I would struggle to think of a sitcom season I have enjoyed more. In addition to an excellent main cast, this show may have the best group of supporting characters in any sitcom: Russ Hahnman, the guru, the Hooli lackeys. And the writers know how to use them sparingly before they become annoying.

I’m also increasingly fond of this show. It’s going to be a long, sad wait until season 3!

The writers are doing a wonderful job with the plotting as well as with the characterizations; the conflicts and obstacles faced by Our Hero are plausible, well-developed, and intriguing.

By the way, three of the cast members–Middleditch, Miller, and Woods–appeared on Conan O’Brien’s show last night. Maybe it’s just me, but this was so funny I hurt myself laughing:
