Didn’t they do one back in the 60’s which had a newscast in back of it? Is it still available?

Yes, it’s “Seven O’Clock News”/“Silent Night”. It’s on The Definitive Simon and Garfunkel, which I’m reasonable sure is still available, if you can’t find the original album.

I recall that track. It was “Silent Night” accompanied by an evening newscast. It was on an album entitled “Parsley, Sage, Rosemary and Thyme.”

Whether that album is still available, or whether you’ll have to find the track on a repackaged/compilation CD, I couldn’t tell you.

I have Parsley Sage Rosemary and Thyme. I got it for Xmas a couple of years ago, so it’s available.
