Slices of tomato, mozzarella, and oranges, arranged in alternating layers, drizzled with balsamic vinegar and sprinkled with chopped fresh basil.
Also, a brick of cream cheese covered in jalapeno jelly. Spectacular on crackers.
I like to mix cottage cheese with half sharp paprika, or with a tiny amount of vanilla and splenda as mock icecream, or with drained pear chunks from one of those individual serving cups [I prefer pears to peaches.]
Green peas added to pasta carbonara. Yummo!
(It would never have occurred to me. I had it in a restaurant in Kathmandu, many years ago. Have been adding them ever since!)
Yes!!
Try it with pineapple jelly, peppercorns, cream cheese, and horseradish. My mom aways made it, calling it “Jezebel dip”.

They both have a great earthy flavour, is what it is I think. Also 'roo and sautéed mushrooms.
The trick with 'roo itself is to marinate it first (we buy it that way), slice it thinly, and only cook it briefly - a minute or so each side. Very easy to overcook, which makes it almost inedible.
Spreadable/room temp Brie and red grapes. So delicious!
Olive oil and Balsamic vinegar with crusty white bread. I also love crusty white bread and a green salad dripping with vinaigrette, sopping up the dressing with the bread.
Peanut butter and bacon sandwiches.
Balsamic vinaigrette and blue cheese make a great salad dressing. The contrast makes the taste all sharp and sparkly.
Avocado and soy sauce. Simple and surprisingly tasty.
Put a tub of cream cheese in front of you. May use flavored cream cheese, i.e., pineapple, strawberry. Chive or jalapeno… dunno about that.
Take banana in one hand, butter knife/spreader in the other. Bite off the end of banana to create flat-ish surface. Spread cream cheese on end of banana. Eat. Spread more cheese on newly exposed end. Eat.
Continue in like manner until banana is consumed. You are permitted to get a second banana (someone like Phil Silvers would be good- ba-da-bing!)
toasted bagel with cream cheese and sliced pickled garlic.
