Since we are on the topic of foods...how about fav ice-cream?

Baskin Robbin’s peanut butter chocolate.

Ben and Jerry’s make a low-fat ice cream called Coconut Custard Pie. Coconut ice cream with 'Nilla Wafers in it…Yum. If I’m going to Friendly’s, I always order the same thing: Reese’s Pieces Sundae with cookies-n-cream ice cream.
When I lived in NY, I woke up one day and happened to see a brand new ice cream store opening up right across the street. I alomst did a happy-dance right there in the kitchen. Everytime I was looking in the fridge for a little something, I’d just have to glance out the window and see that store. I made sure to go there and ‘test’ the ice cream a few times, just to make sure it was good. Luckily for me there was something that stopped me from going there too much… the name of the place, beaming into my kitchen window in big hot-pink letters, was Fatso’s.

I told you not to be stupid, you moron.

Mmm…green-tea ice cream. Very subtle. I also like the Baskins-Robbins “daquiri ice” flavor.

Two: Mint Chocolate Chip, and Praline Pecan. Like Butter Pecan, but each pecan has a praline coating…yummmmm

Black Raspberry, preferably recently made in a small ice-cream shop, but Friendly’s is OK.

I heard once that us Masssachusetts people consume more ice cream per capita than any other state, by a factor of about 2, so we should know.

Seems to be a few Ben & Jerry’s fans here. I’m one of them. Chubby Hubby, despite the retarded name, is damn good ice cream. Chocolate covered, peanut butter filled pretzels in vanilla ice cream swirled with chocolate and peanut butter.

The very best ice cream in the world is the Honey Pecan at Honey Hut in Cleveland.

There’s really no room for debate here. Those of you who disagree (with the possible exception of NothingMan, who is allergic) just haven’t been fortunate enough to try it yet. Their Chocolate Peanutbutter Cup is pretty good too!

Seriously, though, has anyone ever tried Honey Hut ice cream in Cleveland?

Haagan-daaz Vanilla drowned in Hershey’s chocolate syrup.

Haazan-daaz Chocolate Peanut Butter, but this item requires a special trip the the HD store, so I don’t do it too often.

Ben & Jerry’s Brownie selection and Phish Food are also good.

Ben and Jerry’s Wavy Gravy. Period. I will brook no argument. Vanilla-hazelnut ice cream with caramel-and-chocolate fudge ripples and chocolate-covered nuts. I think Ive got the combo right. It’s been a couple of years. But who cares, I can eat two pints in one sitting. One bite is an instant mouth-gasm.

Favorite Ice Cream that I can buy now:
Ben and Jerry’s New York Super Fudge Chunk

Favorite Ice Cream that I can’ get anymore because I moved away from Ithaca NY: It’s a 3-way tie among Purity Chocolate Bittersweet, Purity Madigan Mint and (urp) P&C store-brand Heavenly Hash. It had chopped almonds, just the right amount of marshmallow swirl, and slivers of bittersweet chocolate. The best store brand ice cream I’ve had, and really cheap, too, at $1.50 a half gallon (this was 10 years ago)

Some of my favourites:

Licorice.
Smooth, grey, and delicious. I’ve only seen it in British Columbia, though…

Coconut.
The simple beauty of coconut unadulterated by pineapple or nuts or other such impurities.

I seem to remember Baskin-Robbins selling coconut, but that was when I was in highschool, and I was often distracted by the fact that Kathleen Sano was preparing it… At any rate, BR only has coconut in the frequent and deprecated combination with pineapple these days.

Tiger Tail.
This swirl of vanilla and orange also includes black licorice, so it’s up there on the road to Eternal Fame and Goodness.

French vanilla.
The standard: robust and high-class without being snobbish or obsequious.
