Sinful, Shut the Fuck Up.

With 14 posts, Sinful has started 10 threads and has never posted in a thread started by someone else. Of the 10 threads it has started, it has only reponded to others in two of those. One of those 4 replies is to inform someone they are being added to it’s “ignore list” in direct violation of board rules.

Either respond and post in good faith or stop the drive-by threads.

Homebrew, in continuing with my attempt at being a broken record, do you recall Tris’ post on how to effectively deal with people who are posting to see their words online? The name for this particular brand of internet being is rather verboten, but I feel it is applicable here.

Pay this creature as much attention as you’d pay a stray blade of grass on someone else’s lawn:)

I admit the drive-bys are annoying, but overall it just looks to me like a Newbie having a kinda bumpy beginning. Not everybody instantly assimilates the ground rules here. Some people just get a little carried away with enthusiasm the first time they stumble into this place. I’ll reserve my judgement until he’s been here for like a couple of weeks, see if he settles down. Maybe he should have lurked a bit more first, but hey.

I’m new too… how’s my ground rule assimilation?

Don’t leave us hanging here, punha. Tell us more about the blade of grass!

Sua

I’ve been waiting for this schmuck to get their very own pit thread.

I’ll bet that Sinful doesn’t bother to post here either.

Resistance is futile - all your base are belong to us.

Right! That’s it! Your ass is OUTTA HERE, pal!

No, I bet he’ll post here. It’ll be one of the only ones he posts too.

::feeds the troll mentioned in the OP by expounding on the metaphysical properties of the blade of grass::

::wonders aloud if he’s just raised the question “can plants worship/believe in God?”::

::prays nobody says “I’ve opened a GD thread on that very question, iampunha, and look forward to your thoughts!” since he was joking.::

::bets now that Lib or one of the other GDers in this thread will do just that out of spite::

::: decides not to open a GD thread about metaphysical implications of blades of grass :::

::: regretfully puts away Whitman and Frost quotes dug up for the occasion :::

:: wonders if a homosexual blade of grass can know God?

:: wonders if a Trekkie blade of grass has any chance of acceptance ::

*Do we walk in legends or on the green earth in the daylight?

A man may do both. For not we but those who come after will make the legends of our time. The green earth, say you? That is a mighty matter of legend though you tread it under the light of day!*

:: wonders what Grass Pie would taste like ::

::wonders if George Hamilton is even religious?::

::Thinks, possibly, like a cat’s breath?::

Women of the 1980s will have robots to iron their husbands’ clothes.
