…Back To Middle-Earth Month is here again!
I discovered B2MEM three years ago. I love the Tolkien fandom, and having a month of new fics every day makes March one of my favorite months. It’s like camping out in a library, only everything is Tolkien!
I’m, um, not very articulate in spreading the word. I don’t really know how to say how excited I am in a way that gets other people excited too. But I just wanted to let you guys know about it, if you don’t already.

Thank you for sharing this. I will be checking it out.
Tolkien fandom is a big place. There are many groups, publications, and websites related to it which have many ways of appreciating Tolkien and related literature. I recommend the Mythopoeic Society and Mythcon:

And now another March has passed into the West. Another month of stories long and short, joyful and tragic, and simply thought-provoking.
This was a very unusual B2MEM for me- I never thought I’d be participating, let alone three times. It was a dizzying experience, to publish a story on the internet and to have to writers I’ve followed and recc’d and fangirled over reading something I wrote.
I think my favorite story this year was a very short (hasty?) one, about where Ents got their distinct verbal tics. Headcanon accepted.
If any of you were following Back To Middle-Earth Month, how did you like it? What was your favorite story?
'Tis the season once more.
(This bump is a few days late, but I’ve been a bit distracted with reading, writing, and reading in order to put off having to write).
Thanks very much for the reminder!
Yes, indeed. And see this thread as to the upcoming Tolkien biopic: https://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?t=872189
