Well, you know, buying a DVD doesn’t mean throwing out your VCR. It’s not like the DVD will wait until you’re asleep and then stab your VCR to death.
As for me, I just spent a very expensive week in Paris, so I guess that is my present to myself. I’m certainly not going to buy myself anything else until this Christmas shinoola is over.
I’m going to Thailand and picking up a girl or two. I swear, for $75 it’s the best gift of all time.

this one is windows 98. it’s a wonder the poor thing even runs. i don’t do videos. i do slideshows of videos, it’s so slow now. 
wanna fast fast fast processor (that dual core whatsit), a hard drive big enough to threaten world stability, a wicked oversized video card, WordPerfect (hate hate hate hate hate Word. did i mention i hate Microsoft Word?), a spyware and virus protection program capable of vaporizing the bad stuff at 75 feet - and nothing else. don’t want encarta, don’t want a fax, don’t want quicken, don’t want useless memory eating stuff i never use.
i’m thinkin’ a dell, despite the fact i hated that silly commercial.
