Single Dopers - when was your last date?

Simple enough question. Mine was in February of 2001, so I am approaching four years. Maybe about time to set something up?

Last Sunday

Then again, that broke up a 3 year long drought.

You mean an actual date, like going to a movie, just you+1? Ehh, maybe this last summer.

A little over 3 years ago.

Sometime in the previous millenium.

Last year.

Of course, the last examples of a great many things in my life were last year…

I’m glad it’s not just me. It’s gone from being painfully long to being embarassingly long, or possibly vise versa.

I’ve stopped looking for love quite some time ago and started looking to enjoy what I have now. That’s a nice way of saying “A really, really long time,” isn’t it?

I think it’s been something like eight years.

Last October (though I’ve been on very, very few dates). Unfortunately, that was right before school got really stressful, so I wasn’t able to try and make it go anywhere :frowning:

February 2001. It was also my first date.

Some time late last year. I always have prospects, but can’t ever seem to translate them into anything more.

November 1998. Psycho Clingy Babe from Hell.

The end of August of '03.

1996? Augh, now I feel even more hopeless . . .

A previous life. Not that I believe in reincarnation, but, it sounds better than “I’ve never gone out on a date.”

Um, sometime in early summer 2004, I think. Which doesn’t sound half bad. Now if you asked last point of pysical contact or actual relationship, I’d be in trouble…

Last fall sometime – October, I think? – after which I declared myself to be officially on hiatus from dating. I don’t anticipate emerging from hiatus any time soon.

Hmmmm, I guess it was about 8 months ago. Seems like a long time considering I’m only 19 and am expected to be dating the fudge out of every girl I meet.

My last date was to see the remake of “Dawn of the Dead” with an acquaintance. It didn’t go anywhere and I’m glad to admit it. She’s still a good friend though.

August '03 isn’t hopeless…

1996 - and the intervening 9 or so years should have been easy pickings - university in a male dominated course, and then working on a project where i"m one of about 4 women (and the only one in a technical role) out of about 90 or so men…

Apparently, geek guys are not after a geek girl like me.
