Jeannie (Barbara Eden) would have been great to have as a friend.
Other than Sheldon, those guys are pretty much like some of my friends. I can see playing D&D with them, no problems. Sheldon is unrealistic, no one would put up with that shit.
I could hang out with Christy and Bonnie from Mom. But then I would hit on both of them.
Rob and Laura Petrie.
They would be fun to hang with.
So would Fry and Bender.
Hanging with the Always Sunny crew would be fun too. Except for Frank. Frank is one sketchy son of a bitch. Extra bonus would be if Mac’s cousin, Country Mac, hung out as well.
I think I could hang out with Amy and Bernadette, but not Penny. She’s too mean.
I must respectfully disagree - I think they would be exhausting and irritating to hang out with. I can’t even imagine having a normal conversation with them.
I think my choice would be Winston from “New Girl” - he’s just weird enough to keep things interesting, and I love his face so very, very much.
If you want those shelves to stay up, I think I’d choose Al over Tim.
As far as being friends, I’d choose Berta from Two and a Half Men. She seems like she’d be a hoot to hang out with.
I know it wasn’t a sitcom, but I have so much for love for Tami Taylor from Friday Night Lights that she deserves a mention.
Denise Huxtable from The Cosby Show. She had just the right amount of craziness to make her fun.
And for my sarcasm fix: Dorothy Zbornak from The Golden Girls.
Jeannie, Penny and Bender. Marge Simpson. Monica Geller-Bing. Walden Schmidt from 2.5 Men. Ted F’in Baxter. Anyone major character on MASH except Klinger or Radar. Even Burns would be a hoot as a friend.
Syler
We have the same goals.
Richie, Potsie, and even Ralph Malph, but mostly just to get in with Arthur Fonzarelli. That dude’s got your back no matter what, even if you come home from Greenland and get all drunk and angsty up in his grill, or get slobbery with his girl and catch mono from her.
Plus he’d be the best wingman ever. Or maybe the worst since the ladies were apparently prepared to stand in line and wait for.
Mary richards. Maude Finley. Samantha Stevens dear Aunt Clara, the entire Cheers gang, and I’d let Zeb and Esther Walton move into my cottage behind the house.
The kids from That '70s Show would be great to hang out with. I wish I’d had friends like them when I was in high school.
In no particular order…maybe at a dinner party, I’d like:
Amy Farah Fowler
Rhoda Morgenstern
Mary Richards
Phil Dunphy
Gloria Pritchett
Jake Peralta (Brooklyn 99)
The Gang from I Love Lucy
Mike Brady
Alice the housekeeper
Laverne and Shirley
And throw Frasier and Niles Crane in, to observe the debacle
Most of the FRIENDS (except for Joey)
Max and Caroline from 2Broke Girls
Will & Grace, with Karen & Jack as well
The entire gang from How I Met Your mother (including the mother! Gawd I wish they had done a full season with her in it!)
Rhoda and Brenda
Amy Farrah-Fowler
Leonard Hoffstater
Niles Crane
Molly
The Petries
Dorothy Zbornak
Not a sitcom, but I’d love being friends with ST:TNG’s Data.
I loved that show. I’d love to hang out at their bar and play games with them.
I think I could also be friends with How I Met Your Mother’s Lily and Marshall. The rest of them would be too much, but when they weren’t too wacky, those two were my favorites.
I don’t think you’ve been paying attention to the show. Every normal person these bozos come into contact with get dragged down into their personal hell. Look what happened to poor Father Mara and The Waitress!
Yeah, I’d totally hang out with them! It would be a kick!
I’d stay away from The Workaholics, except for Alice.
How do you know that wouldn’t be a step up for me?
The entire history of sitcoms is built around that question!
I’d certainly hang out with Tom and Barbara Good. Though maybe a little more time with Barbara, I admit.
