Site with trivia presented by year

I know they’re out there, but whichever ones I’ve used, I haven’t bookmarked it on this machine. (I’m pretty sure I’ve got a good site bookmarked at home, dammit.)

I need a site where you can specify a year and get events that happened in that year – who was born, died, books that came out, political events, inventions, etc.

Can anyone recommend one?

I should be more explicit.

Use a URL like this:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2005

with the year in place of “2005”.

Wikipedia’s year articles are the first result in Google for virtually every 3-4 number year. It’s great stuff =)
