For example, the subreddits r/Sovereigncitizen, r/niceguys, and r/FoxNews have absolutely nobody who is either a S.C., considers himself an actual n.g., or actually watches and supports FN, but instead everyone posting is making fun of the subjects in question, tongues often firmly in cheek. It always makes me wonder what would happen if a non-ironic poster showed up with a sincere post supporting said topic, viewpoints, or activity.
How would anybody know?
Create a throwaway account and find out.
Perhaps they’re quickly cornfielded. Reddit mods have widely varying attitudes to moderation.
r/flatearth is another one.
Non-ironic posters are responded to by facts. That quickly drives them off.
