With the return of The Sopranos, I can’t wait for my other favoutie TV show to return. I’ve heard nothing about it’s return except for Mena Suvari will in a couple of episodes. Anyone have any more details about it? Possible plot lines?

Do you really want to know what’s going to happen though? I was hesitant to read this thread for fear of learning too much. One of the best things about that show is not knowing what the heck’s going to happen next.
The only thing that I have read is that it will be the craziest season to date, which is a good thing because I wasn’t as happy with the 3rd as the 1st and 2nd.
Nevertheless, I am so excited!

I haven’t heard anything either, but I keep wondering how everything will turn out with the abortion, dead wife, and other psychological trauma. I remember calling my sister last year after that episode was over where they agreed to look after each others’ babies, since one baby and one mother were dead, and wondering how many women who’d had abortions were utterly freaked out seeing the baby on the “other side”. God, I love that freaking show!
On an unrelated HBO Originals aside, anyone else missing Oz? Maybe it was just all the really hot prison sex, but Sunday night just ain’t the same without Beecher and Chris going at it like a couple of rabid wildebeasts. Mmmm…prison sex.
Mottpott, did you not see the last episode? Gabe is dead, for real. He was Claire’s guide through the “other side”. He is taking care of his little brother, the one who was accidentally shot. He committed suicide and said he likes being dead much better than he did living. He is still hot as hell and it made me cry like a big ninny…“Oh, God, Gabe! Gabe’s dead! Oh no…”
I wondered if they might bring him back like the dad, but maybe only Claire will be able to see him. Or something.

I don’t mind knowing about guest stars (Ellen Degeneres and Mena Suvari and Veronica Cartwright? Cool!), or a very vague plot point, but I DON’T want to know any spoilers.
In my opinion, that spoils the fun. I much prefer watching unspoiled.
But I am waiting very impatiently for it to start again. Six Feet Under is one of the best shows on TV, hands down.

So, if HBO goes by its typical routine, it’ll probably be two to three weeks after Sopranos ends its current seasons.
So is “next summer” this summer or is it the summer of 2005? I’m assuming if it’s going to be coming after Sopranos that’ll be this summer. So why did they say next summer?

Yes…“next summer” is decidely vague isn’t it. Well, that posting was dated January 8th 2004, so perhaps in the midst of winter it is okay to call the approaching summer “next summer”. But, if they’re in production as of this past January, I can’t see them putting the season on the shelf for nearly a year. So I see no reason why it won’t be on air this coming June or thereabouts.

They had a kind of trailer for Six Feet Under before Sopranos this week. I think it said June or July of 2004 for the new season.

But my friend told me that they showed the names of all the people that died and Gabe wasn’t on there, but his brother was. I don’t know, I guess I just want to keep hope alive. If he is dead, they should seriously consider more dreams involving him.
Oh, and by the way, I get so much crap for thinking he is just the best looking man I think I have ever seen, so I’m glad someone finally agrees with me. My friend just sent me photos of him taken by Herb Ritz. Yum!
I could have sworn that same friend said it started in May. Hasn’t it started in May in the past? I hope they replay the 2nd season because that was my absolute favorite. The part when Brenda and Nate get into a fight and he chucks the ring at her, I loved it!
It could have been May. My memory isn’t clear on the month. I was mostly just saying that I remember seeing 2004, not 2005.
