I had a period in my life when I was very depressed. For a few days I comforted myself by drinking every night. When I, on the way home from work, realised I was going to the liquor store to buy booze just in case I felt like getting drunk by myself, it got to me what I was doing. So I never got there, but kudos to you for getting out.
