Because you have less than 100 posts, you needed to get permission from two member of the Pit Improvement Board before pitting a poster who has a join date before 2005. If Skald had joined after 2005, but before 2008, you would have needed permission from only one member. What’s so funny about this is that Skald is the past president of the Pit Improvement Board and as such, he can veto any board decision. That’s why no one else pitted him. Does that make sense now?
I haven’t read Skald’s stuff enough to really have an opinion on his body of work, but I know one thing: the guy is actually putting effort into making threads that are interesting. Whether he succeeds or not, at least he’s making some fucking effort, which this place desperately needs. We could use more of him, not fewer.

Skald is a board fixture. I have fixtures in my house. It never occurred to me to become annoyed with any of them unless they were malfunctioning. As nearly as I can figure, Skald is not malfunctioning. Though his function may be neither obvious nor practical, or even entertaining much of the time, he is operating within his design parameters.
the only way to know if people find him annoying is to have a poll.
Skald is my favorite poster, and I’m a pretty good judge of awesomeness. Just ask anyone.

I too at first glance thought that it was even sven . This is frankly confusing and I think **even seven ** should be made to change his/his nickname.
