Skeeters in the MMP

Dindin has been ingested. YUM! Chill mode is in effect. OYKW is considerin’ a soak in the tub. It’s all good.

Spidey I want, nay, NEED a hover mower. Sounds like a ton o’ fun!

flytrap not to worry. The only person I groom is OYKW.

Makes me think of Potato’s in the Paddy Wagon

Laundry is done, I did some rearranging to make more room(I’m running out of things to get rid of. :(:dubious:) Got the bar ware cleaning in the dishwasher(30 shot glasses takes up a lot of room)

My paternal grandfather outlived 3 wives and a girlfriend.

Please tell me you resisted the urge to pinch his cheeks.

Wait, are you a bear or a silverback?:dubious:

I lurves me some tuna steak! And the cookies are a nice finish. Happy tummy.

doggio there are many ways to groom. I shall spare you the details.

And on that note we shall retire to yon bedroom to watch teevee and possibly groom until sleepy time.

Nitey Nite Y’all!

Major Crimes is back on the air - gotta catch the first episode of the season.

MWAH!

I suppose I should clarify
I wasn’t still with any of the ex’s when they passed.

It still was sad to hear about their passing.

Victor was only 38 and died of a drug overdose. It’s a shame he got into drugs, but I can’t put up with that. Phil (Sah-son’s father) was only 39 and died of a massive heart attack. Wayne was in his 50s, between agent orange and smoking he had multiple health issues. He lost one of his legs because of smoking. He always wanted me back but my outlook on life is you don’t go back, you keep moving forward. I have no idea how Melvin died, he was close to 60. My sister used to run into him and he always asked about me.
Funny that Melvin lived just up the road from my mother, right around the corner from my ex-husband and I never ran into either of them. The only way I knew they were there is because Sah-son subbed on a paper route in that area.

Got death on my mind because my friend’s MIL just died, quite suddenly.

I really loved it, but my palette is not very refined. “Is it that kind of party”?

GoT, Penny Dreadful, and Hannibal have been this weeks viewings. I feel I should watch some rainbow pony show.

I think it was a bad week for unfortunate deaths. A good friend of mine died of colon cancer. She had been fighting the disease for about 4 years. It was still a shock. I guess I thought if she had made it this far she would make it.

Sounds like half the MMP knew someone who died this week. :frowning:

Stop that! Stop it! :dubious:

Yeah, normally I love TMI, but we’ll skip it this time.

Yeah Agent Orange and plant life don’t mix.:stuck_out_tongue:

Except in Japan where original naugas are a VERY BIG DEAL. We sold a couple on eBay and I hate to even admit what they went for.

Early 1992 maybe and I was at a GWAR concert and this other dude said “Sir - do you know what time it is?” I tried to assume he thought I was part of some country’s nobility but in the end I had to admit that he just thought I looked old.

Not as bad as the bifocals thing ------- but it was a moment in time.

okie dokie

were you exposed to agent orange?

NM I forgot you are a plant

Holy cow, sari! Your track record with men is as bad as mine.

One guy that I dated in college was killed in a car accident when we were about 25 and no longer dating, one was killed in an industrial accident years after we went our separate ways, one had a massive heart attack after we quit
dating and my SO had a heart attack at 45.

The one that you’d think would have kicked off years ago (Agent Orange, heroin addiction for several years, has smoked since he was a kid, older than dirt, etc) is still driving truck at 66. Oy!

My name is Wayne, as one can find from my literary efforts in the Straight Dope Teemings.

Where is the emoticon for me biting my tongue? :stuck_out_tongue:

You know, if I wasn’t married I would almost suggest the three of us --------

What can I say? I’m a risk-taker at heart.

Good morning!! We had some rain overnight and it’s cool-ish this morning, but the heat will be back in a few hours.

Today’s big excitement is taking Higgs to the vet for her annual shots. She hates going in the truck, so this will be an adventure. At least she’s easier to handle and contain than Ziva.

Also (maybe? finally?) we’re supposed to finish the deal on the bike. I don’t know what all the issues have been, but the buyer was here on Sunday and everything’s still a go - it’s just some issue with the financing and the company doing the paperwork. It’s gotten to where I’ll believe it when I see it. I just hope it doesn’t interfere with the dog’s appt.

I was going to push the mower this morning, but not after rain, so tomorrow for that. I was thinking I might clean out my dresser drawers and try to organize them - keeping the grubby shorts and t’s in one place and the more presentable ones in another. Plus there’s the top center junk drawer that probably needs to be purged. That’s a fairly easy indoor job.

Meanwhile, I’m having breakfast, enjoying open windows for a little while. Simple pleasures and all that.

Happy Tuesday!!

Good Mornin’ Y’all! Up and caffeinatin’. YAWN ‘Tis 74 Amurrkin out with a predicted high of 86 and rain/tstorms/apocalypse this afternoon and evenin’. I’ll believe it when it happens.

Not much happenin’ down this way. The big thing today is a conference call this mornin’ that will probably last a couple of hours. ICK! Oh well, maybe I can hone my solitaire skills while I “listen.”

Ok, that’s all I got. I need more caffeine and rumbly tummy wants sustenance. Then, alas and alack, irk purtification must commence. Another day in paradise.

Happy Tuesday Y’all!

Up, caffeinated, off to work. It rained last night.

Doggio, design change:
Iffn we remove the lasers from their heads & add containers of agent orange juice under their fins we’d be able to overshoot the target & not need to worry about accuracy of sticking the landing.

[del]How you d[/del] Oh Hell no!
